WINTER INSTALLATION/EXPERIMENTAL RESIDENCY

This 8-week residency, culminating with a solo exhibition in April, includes 24-hour studio access with unrestricted use of the main 12’ x 16’ gallery space to construct an installation piece designed to transform the perception of the space. For this unique opportunity, our goal is to provide the space and give ample time for a ceramic installation artist to thoughtfully develop and successfully execute a work of art encompassing the entire gallery space. Works may be site specific, experimental or include the construction of a large-scale piece. The proposal should explain why the extended access to the exhibition space is essential for the successful execution of the piece. The accepted resident will occupy the main gallery as a personal studio for 2 months while developing and installing an exhibition to be open to public in early-late spring. Please contact shauna@archcontemporary.com for more information.
